People often say that I have an interesting story. To be honest, I think that there are far more interesting stories than mine but I understand that my very random C.V. is especially interesting to folk who have always done the same job, and might be interested in trying something else. My Rookie Entrepreneur series on YouTube, is aimed at helping people who are thinking about trying business for themselves, and who aren't sure where to start.
In the first episode, I talk about my experience up until that point. This video was filmed when I was effectively left homeless, and unfit for work after feeling that I had no option but to quit my job as a Parish Minister, in the Church of Scotland. I had a breakdown a few months after the first episode was filmed. It's taken a few years to bounce-back, but I'm now making good progress, and back to being a full-time entrepreneur.
The first episode of "The Rookie Entrepreneur, " is below, and just in case you don't have 45 mins (!) here's a quick summary.
